She was greatly admired when she played the role of an investigator in the crime drama series "Charlie's Angels". The series featured the adventures of three women working in an agency for private detectives located in Los Angeles. The TV show was about the exploits of three women working in a Los Angeles private detective agency. She was diagnosed with anal cancer in age 59. she died three years later.
