She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th July 1983. Her first job was in the real estate business. It was here that she made friends with Tarek. After the 2008 crash of the stock exchange, the real estate market was hit hard by investors and those who were homeowners lost their funds. Due to the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa almost lost everything. After moving from a house which cost them $6,000 per year to an apartment costing $700, they almost lost everything. They slowly rebuilt their company and the entire economy. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek asked his close associate to record an HGTV audition film in 2011, which featured the duo of him along with Christina flipping a whole home. Pie Town Productions executive received this tape. The executives fell in love of Tarek, Christina and their stories. The couple officially signed a HGTV contract in the year 2012. "Flip of Flop" w premiered in April of 2013. For seven seasons, the show ran from 2013 until 2017. Christina and Tarek were shown buying houses typically in Orange County. After spending many weeks making improvements then they'd flip the houses to make profits. Tarek is in charge of construction, demolition and renovations. Christina keeps everything running on schedule.
